A Public Hearing will be held by the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Kent at the offices of the Kent County Road Commissioners, Earl G. Woodworth Building, at 1500 Scribner Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI for the proposed 2018 improvement projects, pursuant to Act 150 of the Public Acts of 1976 of the State of Michigan.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED ACTION
13 Mile Road from Kenowa Avenue to Peach Ridge Avenue
Sparta Township
The proposed improvement of 2.00 miles of 13 Mile Road from Kenowa Avenue to Peach Ridge Avenue in Sections 17, 18, 19 and 20 in Sparta Township includes necessary tree removal, earthwork, drainage, subbase, aggregate base and construction to provide a 2-lane all-season roadway with ditches, HMA surfacing and restoration.
10 Mile Road from Alpine Avenue to Pine Island Drive
Algoma, Alpine, Plainfield and Sparta Townships
The proposed improvement of 2.00 miles of 10 Mile Road from Alpine Avenue to Pine Island Drive in Section 31, Algoma Township, in Section 1, Alpine Township, in Section 6, Plainfield Township and in Section 36, Sparta Township includes necessary tree removal, earthwork, drainage, subbase, aggregate base and construction to provide a 2-lane all-season roadway with ditches, HMA surfacing and restoration.
Copies of the notice and preliminary plans of the proposed action are available for public inspection at the office of the Kent County Road Commission located at 1500 Scribner Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Written statements will be accepted by the Kent County Road Commission at least ten (10) days before the hearing.
