Pursuant to Act 150 of the Public Acts of 1976 of the State of Michigan, a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Kent at the offices of the Kent County Road Commissioners:

Proposed 2018 improvement of Knapp Street from Dunnigan Avenue to west of Grand River Drive, Section 11, 12 & 14 in Grand Rapids Township and Section 7 in Ada Township; and Knapp Street from west of Shady Drive to west of Pettis Avenue, Section 7 in Ada Township.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED ACTION
The proposed improvement of 2.5 miles of Knapp Street from Dunnigan Avenue to west of Grand River Drive, Section 11, 12 & 14 in Grand Rapids Township and Section 7 in Ada Township, and Knapp Street from west of Shady Drive to west of Pettis Avenue, Section 7 in Ada Township includes necessary tree removal, earthwork, drainage, subbase, aggregate base and construction to provide a 3-lane roadway with curb and gutter, drainage, HMA surfacing and restoration.
Copies of the notice and preliminary plans of the proposed action are available for public inspection at the office of the Kent County Road Commission located at 1500 Scribner Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Written statements will be accepted by the Kent County Road Commission at least ten (10) days before the hearing.
