The Kent County Road Commission and Alpine Township are partnering with Wolverine Group to reconstruct to three-lane, all-season standard. Work includes tree removal, earthwork, widening, ditch work, grading, sand subbase, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter at the intersections, asphalt paving, pavement markings, restoration and traffic signal at Alpine Avenue.
- An Information Open House is scheduled for Thursday April 27, from 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., at Alpine Township Hall located at 5255 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321
The purpose of the open house is to provide property owners and businesses with an opportunity to review and comment on this proposed road project. KCRC personnel will be present to answer questions about the construction concept. KCRC staff will also discuss the desire to acquire additional road right-of-way and permission to grade beyond current road right-of-way to accommodate this work. |
